The 2020 Mast Landing Brewing Company Scholarship

Last night we were proud to see the Mast Landing Brewing Company Scholarship presented to Sang Huynh! Each year Westbrook High School selects one deserving student to receive our scholarship equivalent to $1 for every barrel of beer we brewed the year prior. The money is intended to help a student from our community pay for their college education, and this year we were proud to contribute $6,325 to that cause. Local support has been the foundation we grew from, and we hope that each step of the way we can share our success with our larger Westbrook family. Congrats Sang and the entire 2020 graduating class!

About the Scholarship

Every year, Mast Landing Brewing Company tallies up the number of barrels that we brewed, and allocates one dollar per barrel for a scholarship that benefits a graduating student at Westbrook High School.

Our hope is not only to ease the burden of paying for the next step in one of our young community member’s lives, but also to show that as we grow our business, we also grow our commitment to our home town.
